About
Dr. Navid Rahman
I’m a medical doctor by training, with an MBBS from Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College and a specialisation in cardiology from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Dhaka. I’ve spent the last decade teaching chemistry full time across some of Dhaka’s most respected coaching centres, including Octagon Learning in Uttara, Coach Up in Bashundhara R/A, and seven years at Gnosis Coaching Center before that.
My subject is the Cambridge and IB chemistry boards: IBDP, MYP, O Level (5070), and AS & A Level (9701). My job is bigger than the syllabus. I take students who walk in unsure of themselves and rebuild the way they think, study, and approach a paper, until chemistry stops feeling like memorisation and starts feeling like something they actually see. The students I’ve trained over the years now study medicine, engineering, and the sciences at universities across Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and Europe.

AS & A Level Chemistry
Cambridge 9701 -> advanced physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry for university-bound students aiming for A and A* grades.
IB Chemistry
IBDP & MYP Chemistry
